James is part of Winckworth Sherwood’s Real Estate team and acts on a wide range of matters, including acquisitions of development sites, investment work, and landlord and tenant work. Prior to joining Winckworth Sherwood, James trained and qualified at Lewis Silkin LLP, before joining the Commercial Real Estate team at Forsters LLP where he acted for major institutional investors, multi-site occupiers, and developers.

• Acting for a cross-border JV on a lease re-gear, memorandum of understanding, and exclusivity agreement
• Representing a developer on a development agreement, side-by-side lease, and funding agreement
• Acquiring a prestigious Mayfair office building for an Ultra High Net Worth overseas family
