Acquisition of property intended for residential mixed-use development

• Acting on large scale public/private sector development schemes such as representing Barratt London in its partnership with TfL to bring forward development sites in west London, this work is ongoing and includes advising on site acquisitions at Bollo Lane, Acton which will deliver up to 900 homes as well as land near High Barnet underground station which will deliver around 300 homes
• Advising Croudace Homes Limited in relation to entering into option agreements for development opportunities in the Oxford region
• Advising Harrow Strategic Development Partnership LLP (a 50/50 partnership between London Borough of Harrow and Wates Construction Ltd) on how to navigate the development opportunities across the borough of Harrow pursuant to the terms of a Development Agreement
• Representing Barratt London and Housing Association London and Quadrant through two joint venture vehicles in a deal with Sainsbury Plc to redevelop supermarkets and car parks at Nine Elms and Fulham Wharf into major mixed use development sites and advising throughout the development cycle
• Acting for a national house builder on the acquisition of a £63.5 million mixed use development site in Canning Town

• Acting for top 20 house builder on a £64m disposal of a build to rent forward funded scheme in West London to an investor, including all development, funding and security arrangements
• Advising Telford Homes on a build to rent forward funded development at Alperton.
• Representing Countryside Properties Limited and L&Q on their build to rent sales at Beam Park to Sigma and Barking and Dagenham Council
• Acting for Quintain on several disposals of affordable housing in Wembley, North London
• Advising and acting for Barratt London on several sales of freehold and leasehold reversions to investor purchasers
• Agreeing complex pre-let arrangements for commercial leases sold pre-build

Real Estate aspects of District Heating Systems

• Advising national house builders on the property aspects of district heating systems situated within their development sites and arranging for various disposals of the same
• Acting for Barratt Developments PLC (now Barratt Redrow PLC) on the completion of the first development scheme in the London Borough of Sutton to access the Council owned decentralised energy network (SDEN, Sutton District Energy Network).
