Winckworth Sherwood elects three new partners

Winckworth Sherwood has announced the promotion of three Senior Associates to Partner. The appointments, effective 6th April, come from the Education, Employment and Parliamentary practice groups. Commenting on the promotions, Winckworth Sherwood Managing Partner, Roger Fitton, said: “It is great to see our Firm growing and the Partnership evolving through internal promotion. Promotion to partnership is a recognition of many things, including the quality of service provided to our clients, but it also carries a great responsibility to maintain and enhance the Firm’s reputation and success.”

Alexandra Dillistone

Alex is a public law, planning and environmental lawyer, specialising in infrastructure and energy projects. She has acted on many high-profile and politically sensitive matters and has particular expertise in drafting legislation, advising on legislative scope and conducting stakeholder negotiations.

Louise Lawrence

Louise advises employers and senior executives on all aspects of employment law including service agreements, maternity issues, grievances and disciplinary issues, redundancy and restructuring exercises, settlement agreements and whistleblowing and discrimination claims.

Education

Anna Shadbolt

Anna has acted on numerous academy and free school projects providing advice to schools in relations to governance/corporate structures, funding agreements and commercial transfer agreements. She has advised all categories of schools (including community, foundation, foundation trust, voluntary aided, federated) on both single and multi-academy structures, for sponsored, converter and brand new schools. Anna has also acted on complex private finance initiative (PFI) and building schools for the future (BSF) conversions.
