Chelsea is a Solicitor in the Restructuring and Insolvency team. She has experience acting for insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, commercial and individual clients on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Recent experience

• Acted on a multimillion-pound claim brought by an assignee against a company and its directors in respect of breach of directors’ duties.

• Acted for a trustee in bankruptcy, managing claims against the bankrupt and his former spouse pursuant to s284 and s366 of the Insolvency Act 1986.

• Assisted on a multimillion-pound liquidation in respect of an Isle of Man company with litigation in multiple jurisdictions including the Isle of Man, England, Nigeria, and the US.

• Assisted on a multimillion-pound external Administration and Liquidation of the Bahraini bank, Awal Bank.
