Share

Winckworth Sherwood is pleased to announce the appointment of Partner David Fendt, further strengthening our growing restructuring and insolvency practice.

David joined the firm on 8 June from JMW Solicitors, where he was a partner in its restructuring and insolvency team. His arrival follows the recent appointment of Lee Ranford, who joined from JMW in May to lead Winckworth Sherwood’s Insolvency and Restructuring practice.

David specialises in both corporate and personal insolvency, with a particular focus on contentious matters. He advises insolvency practitioners, as well as defendants to office-holder claims, and supports a wide range of stakeholders affected by financial distress, including company boards, charity trustees, creditors, debtors, spouses and landlords and tenants.

Commenting on his appointment, David said:
“I am impressed by Winckworth Sherwood’s strong reputation, the breadth of its sector expertise, and the quality of its client base. I look forward to working with Lee to build the insolvency and restructuring practice and to bringing my experience to the firm.”

Richard Tinham, Managing Partner at Winckworth Sherwood, added:
“We are continuing to invest in building a market-leading restructuring and insolvency practice. David’s appointment, following Lee’s arrival in May, underlines our ambition in this area and our commitment to growing a high-quality team.”
