Lee is a dual qualified solicitor and insolvency practitioner, specialising in personal and corporate insolvency ranging from bankruptcy through to administration and liquidation.

He acts for a wide range of clients, predominantly insolvency practitioners, as well as company directors, lenders, investors, creditors and debtors.

Lee deals with contentious and non-contentious insolvency, with a particular focus on insolvency disputes.

Recent experience

• Acting for Joint Administrators of a Company involved in providing military equipment to various foreign Governments, including a $120 million contract and advising on disputes arising thereunder.
• Acting for Joint Trustees in Bankruptcy in dealing with a complex bankruptcy estate with assets in numerous offshore jurisdictions, and where the bankrupt is subject to a multi-million freezing order.
• Acting for Joint Liquidators in a £20 million claim by them against multiple defendants, including successfully resisting a jurisdictional challenge by some of them.
