Shree has acted for a wide range of clients in the real estate sector including property developers, investors, retailers and restaurateurs. She has developed particular expertise in site acquisition for residential property development and regularly acts on major development projects and regeneration schemes on behalf of national residential house builders.

Recent Experience

  • Advising Sainsbury’s Supermarkets in land acquisition for development of retail units on various sites both by way of option agreement and conditional contract;
  • Acting for Barratt Homes on a circa £41m disposal of affordable housing at Harrow View East to Hyde Housing Group;
  • Representing Fairview Homes in various unit disposals to the affordable arm of Legal & General;
  • Advising Redrow Homes on their exit and termination arrangements on two residential joint venture schemes in Alperton and Brentford;
  • Representing Barratt Homes on site acquisition of a £25m mixed use development site in Acton and subsequent commercial disposal to LIDL and affordable unit disposals to L&Q;
  • Advising Keepmoat Homes in its purchase of an 11.6 hectare brownfield site from Homes England for residential development to include a new primary school, local amenities and open space alongside 598 homes;
  • Acting for Redrow Homes on a circa £86m disposal of a private rented unit scheme in North London to M&G including all development, funding and security arrangements;
  • Agreeing complex commercial pre-let arrangements for Capital & Counties Properties PLC and advising in development proposals for its Covent Garden estate.
