Pippa is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Disputes team. Pippa joined Winckworth Sherwood in September 2023 and has a background in commercial and competition litigation. She also has a broad range of experience in insolvency-related disputes.

Pippa has assisted clients in bringing and defending claims across a wide range of industries, including Property, Education, Financial Services, Charities, Energy, Retail, Infrastructure and Technology. Pippa has brought claims to trial in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Competition Appeal Tribunal, as well as County Courts.

Recent experience

• Defending an international solar power company in a £4 million contractual dispute with its former CEO. Trial in the Queen’s Bench Division (QB-2018-000795).
• Acting on a joint venture dispute relating to a £100 million+ mixed-use development.
• Advising in relation to a representative action on behalf of children in the UK and EEA against TikTok for breach of GDPR and misuse of data.
• Advising a high-net worth individual seeking to set aside a freezing order over cryptoassets.
• Advising Eastman Kodak Company in its claim against international financial and national warehousing companies for manipulation of aluminium warehousing and spot pricing.
• Advising a developer in relation to disputes arising from the insolvency of an AIM-listed house builder.
• Advising in relation to a representative action brought on behalf of all British domestic energy consumers for manipulation of the supply of power cables (Case 1440/7/7/22).
• Advising a national house builder in relation to a negligence claim against a former manging agent.
• Acting for Asprey Capital Limited in its successful contractual claim in the High Court for £2.5 million of unpaid fees.
• Successfully defending a UAE-based private equity firm against a third-party debt order filed in the Commercial Court.
