About Ola

Ola is an experienced legal practitioner, initially Called to the Bar in 2011 and currently a solicitor specialising in ecclesiastical and charity law, with a particular focus on the Church of England. She provides expert counsel on a range of complex matters, including PCC and governance issues, Church of England canon law, and chancel repair liability. Her deep understanding of the charity sector is further demonstrated through her work with the Charity Law Association as an Executive Director, and her direct experience as a trustee. Ola is committed to helping organisations navigate the evolving legal landscape, ensuring they meet their duties and obligations effectively.

  • Co-chaired a CLA working party on accepting, refusing and returning donations (based on the Charity Commission’s latest guidance)
