Luke qualified into Winckworth Sherwood’s Planning team in September 2022, having trained at the firm. Luke provides advice to  developers, house builders, local authorities and registered providers on all aspects of planning law – including planning agreements, highways agreements, CIL, due diligence, planning appeals, CPO, appropriation, rights of light and neighbourly matters.

Recent Experience

  • Advising Bollo Lane LLP (a joint venture between Barratt London and TfL) on the delivery of a large development scheme at Bollo Lane, Acton which will deliver up to 900 homes including planning applications, lawful implementation, planning agreements and CIL.
  • Acting for the London Borough of Wandsworth in relation to planning and highways agreements for various sites in the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area and recently assisting with a planning appeal against non-determination
  • Advising historic city churches on neighbourly matters arising from neighbouring developments including the proposed skyscraper at 1 Undershaft
  • Negotiation of several planning agreements in relation to purpose-built student accommodation schemes in London
  • Advising registered providers including Notting Hill Genesis and L&Q on planning agreements
  • Auditing planning applications for key clients such as Barratt including environmental impact assessments prior to submission
