Lisa is a Legal Director in our employment team with around 20 years’ experience advising a wide range of individuals, companies and charities on all aspects of employment law. For most of this time the focus of Lisa’s practice has been advising senior executives and professionals on appointments, disputes and terminations at senior and board level, including working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic advice.

Lisa has advised leaders from a diverse range of fields such as financial services, healthcare, entertainment, brands, accountancy and legal. Typically, Lisa assists individuals successfully negotiate their contracts/service agreements and exits on favourable terms, which often involves complex negotiations. She also has a wealth of experience advising clients experiencing difficulties at work involving bullying, harassment, discrimination and whistleblowing or navigating disciplinary and performance issues.

Lisa has been recognised for her work for senior executives in the Legal 500 2021, 2022 and 2023 UK editions as a Rising Star and in the 2024, 2025 and 2026 UK editions as a Leading Associate that ‘has developed an impressive senior executives practice’ (2021), has ‘considerable experience both in litigation and negotiating settlements’ (2022) and is ‘a key contact for clients in the financial services space’ (2025).

Lisa also enjoys assisting entrepreneurs and start-ups build their businesses from a staffing perspective as well as advising organisations of all sizes as they deal with employment law matters in contentious and non-contentious circumstances.

Whether acting for employers or employees Lisa seeks to achieve outcomes for her clients which are not only financially valuable but also take account of reputational and commercial considerations. The breadth of her experience provides valuable understanding of differing perspectives.

Whilst Lisa is an experienced litigator, she prides herself on frequently resolving disputes swiftly and sensitively without recourse to court or tribunal. It is therefore fitting that Lisa is also an ADR Group Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator as well as an ADR Group Accredited Workplace Mediator.
