Koula joined the team in 2020 and worked on behalf of RPs, corporate borrowers and lenders on a range of financing transactions, including social housing finance, real estate finance, private placements and bond issues. She re-joined the team in 2024 after spending just over two years as internal counsel at a renewable energy company which operates in developing countries which included pragmatic negotiation of new debt and equity arrangements, and amendments to existing debt deals.

Recent experience

• Acting for multiple borrowers, including RPs, companies, private individuals in respect of new loan agreements and amendments to existing loans.
• Acting for a port authority in respect of a £110m private placement.
• Acting for Longhurst on its 2022 £100m bond tap.
• Acting for lenders in respect of new loans and amendments to loans, including lenders lending to individuals, charities, companies.
