About Eleanor

Eleanor is an associate, specialising in non-contentious construction matters for a range of clients in both the public and private sectors.

Eleanor provides strategic and practical advice to her clients for projects including housing developments, cladding remediation schemes, office developments, technology parks and urban regeneration.

She is experienced in reviewing, drafting and negotiating construction documents including building contracts (mostly JCT form), professional team appointments, and ancillary documents working on behalf of developers, funders and contractors.

Recent experience

  • Advising registered providers in respect of the remediation of defective external cladding, including the drafting of construction documentation and advising on building safety legislation.
  • Acting for developers in connection with joint venture projects.
  • Assisting with the construction aspects of the sale and purchase of real estate developments, conducting due diligence of construction documents.
  • Acting for a global real estate investment firm on the forward funding of multiple student accommodation developments.
  • Assisting with the demolition and redevelopment of various London-based projects involving office, retail and leisure facilities.
  • Acting on the construction side of a corporate acquisition under a share purchase agreement.
