Arcangelo advises UK and international businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, funds, family offices, trustees and HNW individuals on complex UK and international tax matters, with a particular focus on Real Assets, including real estate, energy and infrastructure.

His practice covers cross-border structuring, corporation tax, capital gains tax, income tax, inheritance tax, residence and domicile, succession planning, HMRC enquiries and tax risk management. He regularly advises clients whose wealth or investment activity is held through operating businesses, property structures, family investment vehicles, offshore trusts and private capital platforms.

Dual-qualified in England and Italy, Arcangelo often leads multi-jurisdictional matters, coordinating overseas lawyers, tax advisers, trustees and other professional advisers. He has more than 20 years’ experience, including senior roles at PwC and KPMG in London and as a Tax Partner at Macchi di Cellere Gangemi.

• Advising a private family office on the redesign of a UK real estate holding structure, including corporate and personal tax, trusts, IHT, mixed residency profiles, value extraction and reinvestment.
• Advising entrepreneurs and business owners on tax-efficient investment and business-holding structures, including incorporation, FICs, FLPs, trusts and succession planning.
• Advising an internationally mobile investment management professional on relocation from the UK to Italy, including Italian resident non-dom status, pension trust issues, UK IHT and treaty protection.
• Advising trustees and beneficiaries of an offshore trust and Guernsey company structure on an HMRC enquiry into UK property transfers, share redemptions, NRCGT and section 87 trust gains.
• Advising non-UK resident co-owners of UK residential property on rental tax compliance, English wills, IHT exposure and UK/Italian estate planning.
