Stephanie specialises in the education sector and works in the School Support Service team, advising schools and academies on a range of issues including exclusions and admissions, employment, data protection and freedom of information.

Whilst in her previous role, Stephanie’s experience included:

• Advising on matters relating to special education needs, to include drafting Education, Health and Care Plans and attending the subsequent negotiation and review meetings with the local authority, school and parent
• Advising on school exclusions and matters of equality
• Advising on potential disability discrimination claims
• Advising on potential breach of contract claims
• Advising on potential judicial review proceedings
• Advising on Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act requests
• Advising on a potential defamation claim against a parent
• Advising employees on matters of equal pay
