Jackie is a Legal Director in our Leasehold Enfranchisement Residential Team. She provides specialist advice to private clients and property investors on the acquisition, disposal and financing of residential properties. Jackie also advises flat owners, landlords, a variety of Registered Providers of Social Housing, charitable organisations and ecclesiastical landlords and has particular expertise in lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, right to manage and the right of first refusal.

Jackie also has litigation expertise in residential Landlord and Tenant disputes, Housing/Leasehold Management and commercial lease disputes, in particular those arising under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 for example lease renewals.

• Advising high net worth individuals and property investors in the disposal, acquisition and financing of high value residential properties
• Advising landlords in both collective enfranchisement and lease extension claims made by their tenants (statutory and voluntary)
• Advising tenants in statutory and voluntary lease extensions
• Advising a group of tenants in their collective right to acquire the freehold interest of the building containing their flats under the Leasehold Reform, Urban Development Act 1993
• Advising a group of tenants in the purchase of the freehold interest of the building containing their flats under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987
• Advising an RSL in right to manage claims made by their leaseholders
• Advising landlords on a variety of licence applications from tenants including an RSL upon the procedure to obtain a lease extension where the Freeholder was absent
