Edward works within the Real Estate team focusing on affordable housing developments, urban regeneration schemes and mixed-use developments. Edward generally acts for Registered Providers and developers and has experience with dealing with golden brick transactions, turnkey projects, conditional contracts and development agreements.

Recent experience

• Acting for L&Q on its 126 affordable housing unit acquisition from a joint venture between Hill and Marshall Group at Marleigh, Cambridgeshire
• Acting for Sovereign Housing on its acquisition of 96 affordable housing units from Bellway at a site in Wallingford, Oxfordshire
• Acting for Durkan in conjunction with LB Southwark on a mixed-use re-development and lease back including development financing by way of a loan facility
• Advising a developer arm of a registered provider on the sale of a reversionary interests to an investment fund
• Acting for a joint venture between a London Borough and a development company on acquisitions and development disposals across a number of sites in London
• Acting on mixed-use developments on behalf of a variety of national house builders and registered social landlords
