Education Law Conference 2026

Conference | Wednesday 29th April 2026 | 9.30am - 3.30pm

We are delighted to announce our first in-person Education Law Conference.

With a focus on children’s well-being, this free to attend conference will provide insight into the key education and legal issues that schools and academy trusts are currently facing, and provide an opportunity to network with colleagues across the sector.

Reflecting the challenging economic and cultural landscape of the moment, our expert speakers will be exploring a wide range of relevant topics – from legal and HR updates including the rise in the use of AI, to complex parent and staff disputes, the impact of latest DfE guidance and beyond.

This conference is for anyone involved in managing risk and compliance as well as strategic issues in schools and MATs including headteachers, school business managers, chief operating officers, HR teams, chief finance officers, chief executive officers, governors and trustees.

Conference topics will include:

  • School collaboration – the future for academy conversions, exploring federations, the rise in mergers and implications of growth
  • Employment law update – Employment Rights Act 2025, Tribunal delays, the rise of AI in employment disputes
  • SEND – our specialist SEND team will look at the current issues affecting schools
  • The parent/school relationship – the use of AI by parents, dealing with vexatious complaints, when to carry out an independent investigation, and governance challenges
  • Q&A and panel discussion

Complimentary refreshments and lunch will be provided. A detailed agenda will be released in the coming weeks.

This conference is free to attend and you are welcome to attend with colleagues and contacts working in the sector. To register please click on the link below.
