We were recently instructed on a whole school restructure and redundancy process for SLT staff and TLR holders. We worked closely with our client from the first meeting in our London offices until conclusion. We assisted with the drafting of the Business Case and consultation timeline and provided all template letters and documents as part of our Redundancy Toolkit. We advised on the communications strategy among staff and other stakeholders, as well as on the implications for a staff member returning from shared parental leave. We de-escalated a potential trade union dispute and strike action over the restructure and avoided litigation in the employment tribunal. Throughout the process, the client welcomed our strategic advice and input and was pleased to be able to implement the new structure.
