Winckworth Sherwood has today announced the promotion of six new partners.
Lindsey Anderson, Amy Brown, Greg Carter, Liam Hale, Ashley Pappin and Matt Steinbrecher were all promoted to partner on 6th April. The firm now has 74 partners and over 297 staff across its offices in London, Oxford and Manchester.

Lindsey Anderson is a partner in the Real Estate team. She acts on a wide range of property matters including the acquisition and disposal of development sites.
Amy Brown is a partner in the Oxford Real Estate team with a particular focus on the retail and leisure sectors. She advises on acquisitions and disposals, sale and leasebacks, lease regears and portfolio management.
Greg Carter is a partner in the Construction team. He has more than 20 years’ experience in prosecuting and defending high-value and complex building defects, building safety, professional indemnity and insurance coverage claims.
Liam Hale is a partner in the Social Housing team, acting for registered providers on a broad range of housing management issues including nuisance and anti-social behaviour, possession claims, disrepair claims, trespass, succession and rent arrears.
Ashley Pappin is a partner in the Constuction team. He acts on complex and high-value disputes. He is widely recognised for his expertise on fire safety and insurance issues in commercial and residential construction projects.
Matt Steinbrecher is a partner in the firm’s dedicated Planning Law team. He acts for social housing providers, large housebuilders and joint venture companies on planning strategy, planning agreements, CIL and associated highways and infrastructure payments and planning appeals.
