The Chancellor Philip Hammond presented his second Autumn Budget yesterday. Save for his declaration that austerity is “coming to an end”, the Budget was relatively low key in the end. The major attention-grabber for individuals was the trimming of the tax relief given to landlords and entrepreneurs’ relief .
