Tess Geraghty is a Senior Associate in the firm’s property litigation team, having qualified in 2020. She has experience with a wide range of disputes and focuses on the commercial property sector. She has experience settling disputes out of Court but has taken multiple disputes to trial.

Recent experience

• Acting for a property developer in relation to a high value dispute concerning a sale and purchase agreement.
• Advising a charity on management of its commercial and residential property portfolio.
• Acting for HS2 Limited in relation to various compensation disputes.
• Acting on behalf of a charity in a professional negligence claim in the High Court.
• Acting for both landlords and tenants in relation to opposed and unopposed lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 through to settlement.
• Obtaining a successful outcome for a landowner in the Court of Appeal regarding a renewal under the Electronic Communications Act.
• Taking four telecommunications disputes to trial in the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).
