About Pippa

Pippa is a trainee solicitor in the Employment team. She assists with advisory, contentious and non‑contentious employment matters, including day‑to‑day HR queries, contracts and policies, workplace investigations, and Employment Tribunal matters.

Pippa has previously completed seats in the Education team (specifically the School Support Service) and the Real Estate team (specifically the Commercial Property and Family Offices team). In her seat in Education, Pippa was involved in a range of education-related matters, helping schools and trusts navigate their legal obligations and challenges. In her Real Estate seat, Pippa worked on a broad range of commercial property matters, supporting work from the early stages through to post‑completion, including drafting transaction documents and coordinating completion and post‑completion steps.

Recent experience

Education

  • Assisting with disability discrimination claims in the First-tier Tribunal.
  • Providing guidance on pupil behaviour issues, including suspensions and permanent exclusions.
  • Assisting with special educational needs matters, including disputes over local authority decisions and EHCPs.
  • Advising on handling parental complaints and safeguarding obligations.
  • Supporting schools with compliance around subject access requests and data protection under UK GDPR.

Real Estate

  • Drafting and completing leases and other occupational documents.
  • Assisting with acquisitions and disposals, drafting ancillary documents and co-ordinating completions.
  • Preparing property due diligence (title, searches, enquiries).
  • Supporting real estate finance and post-completion matters (SDLT, Land Registry).
  • Advising on asset management issues, including variations, surrenders and easements.
