About Libby

Libby joined the Parliamentary Planning and Public Law team at Winckworth Sherwood in 2023. She has practised in both New Zealand and the UK on a range of planning, infrastructure, and environmental matters.

Libby has been involved in the various stages of consenting and implementing large infrastructure and planning projects (acting both for the Applicant and interested parties), including in relation to development consent orders, harbour orders, and hybrid legislation. She also advises harbour authorities in relation to their statutory powers and duties.

She has assisted both public and private clients on development, planning and consenting projects, advises on public law and regulatory compliance, and has acted in a variety of litigation and advocacy roles.
