About Leigh

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2004, Leigh has specialised in all aspects of residential leasehold law, primarily focusing on leaseholder rights (including lease extensions, acquiring and selling the freehold of houses, collective enfranchisement, rights of first refusal, right to manage and missing landlord claims).

Leigh acts for both landlords and leaseholders, whether they be individuals, companies, developers, institutions, registered providers, lenders or those involved in managing residential property.

Her work involves deals ranging both in size (from a single unit to advising on the structure of a new neighbourhood) and in monetary value and she has expertise in advising on the effect leaseholder rights have on a development or a potential development.

Leigh has a significant level of knowledge and experience in this area of work, which is known for being highly technical and requires a clear and up to day knowledge of both legislation and case law and its commercial implications.
