About Joe

Joe is currently a trainee in the Education department, assisting the Schools HR team with both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters for our school and MAT clients. Joe was previously in the Ecclesiastical department, assisting with a wide range of ecclesiastical, regulatory and procurement work.

Recent experience

• Successfully advised on the novel use of an exemption to the Procurement Act 2023.
• Advised on the procurement considerations of a proposed tripartite concession contract involving a public authority.
• Routinely dealt with the completion of Subject Access Requests.
• Assisted with a complex trust matter, where a company was dissolved in the 1980s.
• Advised an Oxbridge college on updating its college statutes, including negotiating with the Charity Commission and Privy Council for approval.
