Aparna is a Solicitor in the employment team, advising both employers and senior employees on a range of contentious and non‑contentious employment matters. She is also regularly instructed to carry out independent workplace investigations.

Aparna works closely with corporate employer clients on day‑to‑day and strategic employment issues, including employment contracts, policies and handbooks, consultancy arrangements, redundancies, changes to terms and conditions, capability‑based dismissals and the management of sickness absence. She also advises individual employees on settlement agreements, grievances and negotiated exits, including departures involving directors and shareholders, as well as discrimination and whistleblowing matters. In her investigations practice, Aparna has conducted independent investigations into a wide range of workplace issues, including culture reviews, allegations of sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination.

• Advising on departures and negotiating exit packages and settlement agreements for both employers and employees
• Assisting employees with complex grievances involving disability and maternity discrimination
• Acting for employees in unfair dismissal, disability discrimination and whistleblowing claims
