Andrea is a very experienced employment lawyer who is responsive, clear, pragmatic and practical; aiming always to seek solutions based on what is best for the individual client or business in the circumstances.
With a multi-faceted employment practice; Andrea’s work comprises the full spectrum of employment advisory from complex employment issues (litigious and non-contentious), through to the various commercial employment-related matters which arise in corporate transactions.
She advises in various sectors including in particular: finance, banking, insurance, manufacturing, construction, charity, engineering and media.
With substantial expertise advising on all types of claims for both employers and employees in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and High Court, her practice has encompassed discrimination claims, whistle-blowing, unfair dismissal, employee competition, team moves, employment incentivisation/ retention and senior executive exits.
Her corporate work involves advising on the employment aspects of the many kinds of commercial transaction on matters such employee incentives and retention, executive exits, business restructures /re-organisations, redundancies, the implications of TUPE and outsourcing agreements and executive exits. She has significant experience of providing excellent transactional employment support on all levels of M&A transaction, MBO’s, IPOs and business asset transfers.
