About Emma

Emma is a Solicitor in the Property Dispute Resolution Team and qualified in September 2020. She has experience advising on contentious landlord and tenant matters, specialising in all aspects of residential estate and asset management such as service charge disputes and recovery issues, statutory lease extension claims, breaches of leasehold covenants and tenant insolvency.

Emma also has experience dealing with boundary disputes, and issues relating to rights of light, party walls, and access rights.

Recent Experience

  • Advising land owners who are seeking to undertake development works in relation to potential rights to light claims.
  • Advising land owners on boundary disputes, including potential actions for trespass.
  • Advising landlords in relation to potential possession claims due to their tenant’s failure to pay rent or to comply with other leasehold covenants.
  • Advising landlords in relation to the recoverability of service charges, including service charges relating to building safety.
  • Acting for landlords in applications made by tenants concerning the reasonableness and payability of service charges.
