Claire is a Partner in Residential Development Sales and has over 15 years of experience in the housing development sector, acting for private house-builder developers as well as registered providers of social housing on the legal preparation and disposal of outright, shared ownership and restricted equity plots in new build developments. Claire also has extensive experience acting for high-net-worth individuals in the acquisition and disposal of high value residential properties, as well as lease extensions.

As well as the London sales market, Claire also has experience of the overseas sales market and has launched several developments in Asia for private developer clients. She also provides advice on the senior living sector from high-end retirement villages and private extra care schemes to affordable housing and supported living. Always providing clear advice to clients, Claire is well known in the sector and her commitment to social housing has led to clients returning to her year-on-year.

Recent experience

• Claire has acted on several large multiple tenure sites across London and the South for G15 Registered Providers including Notting Hill Genesis, Clarion Housing Group, A2Dominion, Southern Housing Group, Hyde Group, Peabody Trust as well as other long-standing clients such as Habitare Homes and Square Roots.
• Acted on a complex multi-entity land assembly and phased disposal strategy for a for-profit registered provider at a development of over 5,000 new homes in the South-East.
• Acted for the sole provider to the affordable housing arm of a publicly traded hedge fund company.
• Headed the sale of the affordable housing at the much-publicised and recognisable Athlete’s Village, Olympic Park, for Triathlon Homes.
