About Beth

Beth works with both employees and employers on a breadth of employment law matters.  Her work involves dealing with a mix of contentious and non-contentious issues, including Employment Tribunal claims and independent workplace investigations.

Beth routinely works with clients in relation to strategic advice and negotiations to secure successful settlements for clients in departure situations across a wide range of sectors, including the technology, finance, investment and asset management industries. She also advises employees in relation to complex grievances, whistleblowing and discrimination issues as well as data issues and access requests.

Separately, Beth advises many corporate employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters including employment contracts, day-to day HR queries, whistleblowing, investigations and Data Protection issues (including privacy notices and data sharing agreements).

Recent experience

  • Advising a significant number of employees who were going through a collective redundancy process and ultimately obtaining an improved settlement package.
  • Advising on departures and negotiating exit packages and settlements agreements on behalf of both employees and employers.
  • Assisting employees with complex grievances.
  • Assisting with independent investigations.
  • Reviewing and drafting employment contracts for employers.
  • Drafting and responding to data subject access requests.
  • Assisting employers with a range of Data Protection issues.
