Amy advises on a broad range of commercial property transactions with a particular focus on retail and leisure and development work across various sectors. Amy has significant experience advising clients on a range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, sale and leasebacks, lease regears and portfolio management.

Recent experience

  • advising an international retailer in relation to a group restructuring of its real estate portfolio;
  • facilitating the rapid roll out of “stores within stores” enabling a variety of retail clients to quickly expand to operate from a number of supermarket stores;
  • assisting a number of well known high street retailers with their acquisitions of stores in newly opened UK shopping centres across the UK;
  • facilitating the sale and leaseback of a large London department store for a well known UK retailer;
  • advising an international retailer on the disposal of surplus space to Amazon for the development and use as a major logistics hub;
  • advising an international shopping centre operator on the £260m sale and development leaseback of a new UK shopping centre;
  • assisting a UK bank on the real estate aspects of the refinancing of a large hotel chain;
  • advising a well known property developer on the acquisition of a new site for a multi-phase residential development
