Winckworth Sherwood promotes two new partners


Law firm Winckworth Sherwood has announced the promotion of two new partners – Theresa Kerr in Education and Jane Wakeham in Parliamentary. The promotions are effective from 6 April.

Theresa leads the firm’s School Support Service advising all types of schools on a range of issues including exclusions and admissions, employment, data protection, freedom of information, company law, governance and contracts. The team are currently very busy dealing with a number of implications for schools of COVID-19.

Jane focuses on the promotion of infrastructure projects advising on all aspects of promotions by Hybrid and Private Bill, Transport and Works Act Order, Harbour Order and Development Consent Order.

Commenting on their promotion, Winckworth Sherwood Managing Partner Roger Fitton said: “Theresa and Jane have made significant contributions to the success of their teams and to the firm and we are delighted to announce their promotion and the continued growth of our partnership.”
