Today Winckworth Sherwood has announced the promotion of three new partners.
Matt Cowen, David Emery and Alex Woolcott were all promoted to partner on 6th April. The firm now has 72 partners and over 290 staff across its offices in London, Oxford and Manchester.
Alex Woolcott is a Partner in the firm’s highly respected Planning team. His work spans complex redevelopment and regeneration projects for developers, promoters, and registered providers, advising commercial and restaurant developers/operators on a wide range of planning matters relating to their acquisitions and development portfolios, and advising prominent institutional and charitable clients on high profile development proposals.
David Emery is a Corporate, Commercial and Procurement Partner advising private individuals, family offices, and owner-managed businesses with a particular focus on regulated entities. He specialises in supplier-led work, including in public sector procurement and particularly in hospitality, trading and IT/SaaS.
Matt Cowen is a Partner in the Corporate, Commercial and Governance team with a particular specialism in Social Housing. His expertise includes advising social housing providers (both not-for-profit and for-profit) on regulatory and governance matters, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, management agreements and registration as a Registered Provider of Social Housing.
