Phillip Collins featured in the Telegraph discussing Welsh siblings’ bitter inheritance dispute

Three siblings have ended a bitter dispute in the High Court over the inheritance of their late mother’s three-bedroom council house, worth less than £40,000. It comes as the number of wills disputed at High Court level has reached an all-time high, with a record 188 cases heard in 2019 for legacies both large and small.

Philip Collins commented disputes even for relatively small estates were becoming more common and warned that legacies could be completely wiped out by legal fees.
