Schools Investigations Support Webinar Series – Session 1 Managing School Investigations

There are many occasions when a school will be faced with a decision to investigate a matter, whether as a consequence of an alleged wrongdoing by a member of staff or following a complaint. Frequently, there are safeguarding concerns and regulatory considerations.

Our experienced schools team at Winckworth Sherwood will be hosting a two-part free webinar series to explore issues relating to investigations on 16 October and 7 November 2024.

The first webinar will focus on: Managing School Investigations – Initial Stages

• Deciding to investigate
• Approaching an investigation
• Formulating Terms of Reference
• Managing outcomes and initiating disciplinary action

The webinar series is aimed at anyone within a school or academy trust or who has a supervisory role in relation to schools, including senior leaders, headteachers, school business managers, SENCOs, trustees, governors and diocesan officers.
