This article, published in this week’s issue of EG, looks at the design specifications in the finalised National Planning Policy Framework, which was released without much flourish at the end of July. The content has remained largely the same as the consultation paper released in March, apart from an additional paragraph on design and specification changes which happen after a scheme has been approved.
