Emma is a solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial team, where she has gained experience assisting and advising on a broad range of corporate transactions, corporate financing matters, governance matters and commercial arrangements. She has assisted with work for registered providers, developers, investors and private companies on matters including corporate restructurings, acquisitions and disposals, refinancing transactions, company incorporations, due diligence exercises and Companies House compliance.

Having recently completed her training contract, Emma also gained experience in the Parliamentary, Planning and Public Law department, the Commercial Real Estate and Licensing department and the Employment department at the firm, before qualifying into the Corporate and Commercial team in October 2026.

Recent experience

• Drafting board minutes, shareholder resolutions, director certificates and other corporate approvals for financing, restructuring and refinancing transactions.
• Assisting with corporate due diligence exercises, including managing virtual data rooms, reviewing constitutional and statutory documents, and coordinating information requests across multidisciplinary teams.
• Preparing and reviewing a range of corporate documents, including non-disclosure agreements, intra-group loan agreements, contribution agreements and completion documents.
• Assisting with company secretarial and governance matters, including Companies House filings, incorporations, director appointments and resignations, PSC updates and statutory register maintenance.
• Assisting with drafting and reviewing transaction documents, preparing corporate approvals and managing completion and post-completion processes on complex transactions.
