Duncan joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team on qualification in 2013, having completed his training contract at the firm. His experience includes advising a broad range of clients on a variety of contentious issues. He assists on a wide range of disputes including High Court and County Court litigation and other various forms of dispute resolution.
- Advising a national housing association in respect of various commercial and residential disputes involving contractual breaches, trespassers and dilapidations claims
- Advising a major London-based public body regarding the risk of unexpected protests on public land and strategy
- Acting for a major telecommunications network operator in respect of disputes with telecommunications site providers
- Conducting initial debt recovery work and conducting court proceedings for one of the UK’s largest publicly listed residential landlords
Duncan also has experience in insolvency work and asset recovery and has assisted in a number of coroners’ inquests.
Duncan also has Higher Rights of Audience (Civil Proceedings).
