Winckworth Sherwood has appointed immigration specialist Kezia Daley as a Senior Associate to its Private Client and Tax team. Kezia advises both businesses and individuals on UK immigration and nationality law, servicing clients ranging from international corporations, entrepreneurs and investors, to families relocating to the UK.
Dhana Sabanathan, Partner in Winckworth Sherwood’s Private Client team said: “Kezia is a terrific asset to our team. She will play an essential role advising clients from across the firm on the best ways of navigating UK immigration law, particularly at a time when Brexit puts immigration firmly under the spotlight.”
In respect of individuals, Kezia acts for those seeking entry clearance to invest in the UK under Tier 1, to work for a company within the UK under Tier 2 (general) and (ICT), and for students under Tier 4. She also represents European nationals seeking permanent residence or settled status, and those seeking leave to remain under Appendix FM (which includes partners and children).
Kezia also acts for a variety of corporate clients assisting them with end-to-end sponsorship licence applications, visa advice, and comprehensive support with UK immigration compliance issues.
On joining Winckworth Sherwood, Kezia said: “I’m delighted to be joining a full service firm and look forward to working with colleagues across the whole range of Winckworth Sherwood’s practice areas, including tax, private client, real estate, corporate, employment, and family law. It’s wonderful to be able to advise our clients on all issues relating to moving to, living and working in the UK.”
Kezia obtained her LLB law degree from Westminster University and completed her LPC at The University of Law (previously College of law), qualifying in 2005.
